Unity Medical Center and its predecessors, Grafton Deaconess Hospital, St Joseph’s Hospital and Grafton Family Clinic have been a vital part of the Grafton community for more than 120 years. We were founded to serve a growing segment of our community in need of accessible services.

Today, Unity Medical Center is an incorporated, community-owned and operated health care facility. Included within Unity is an 11-bed acute care hospital and two family care clinics licensed by the North Dakota Department of Health. Unity is a non-profit 501(c)(3) corporation and employs more than 150 people. Specialties include audiology, cardiology, diabetes education, footcare, lactation counseling, obstetrics & gynecology, oncology & chemotherapy, orthopedics, podiatry, psychiatry, and weight loss.

CHSI’s Grafton clinic employs a full medical team to provide quality primary medical care to patients throughout northeastern North Dakota and northwestern Minnesota. CHSI Grafton also offers telehealth therapy sessions with our Psych/Mental Health FNP-BC provider on Wednesdays.

In addition to offering services from our larger clinical network, our Grafton clinic employs two primary care providers on-site throughout the week. CHSI strives to empower patients managing chronic conditions and improve health literacy leveraging electronic medical records system, telehealth and cutting-edge technologies. Due to the predominantly rural service areas of North Dakota and Minnesota, CHSI also operates three mobile units that provide health and dental services where patients live and work. CHSI deploys these mobile units to farms, local restaurants, churches, employers or any location where patients do not have transportation or resources to travel.
