Our city is one of the most bike-able cities in ND. We maintain over four miles of paths that weave throughout town and provide any new or seasoned bicyclist with plenty of opportunity to get a good ride in!

Farmer's Market

The Market season runs for 11 weeks on Tuesday nights beginning July 2nd to Sept 10th. Come out to Heritage Village from 4:30- 6:30 PM for local produce, baked goods, and other specialties.

Be on the lookout for themed market nights like Art at the Market, Community Paint Party, National Night Out, Kids Market, and Fall Festival!

Carnegie Regional Library

Grafton was the first in North Dakota to establish a free public library and reading room in 1896, and the first city to have a Carnegie Library. Grafton was also the first to combine the service of a bookmobile library along with a city library, forming a multi county/city library region. Also, Carnegie Regional Library in Grafton was the first library in the state to receive funds from the Department of Defense during the ballistic missile years.

Winter fun at Centennial Center

During the winter we have Hockey and Skating at the Centennial Center. You can see our public skate schedule on Rendezvous Region Rendezvous Region – Northeast North Dakota. We have 2 outdoor rinks with warming houses, a home-made sledding hill, and groomed trails at Leistikow Park. You can rent CC Skis and Snowshoes for the weekend!

Leistikow Park

Leistikow Park Campground boasts a lovely family pool, basketball and tennis courts, picnic shelters, playground and sandbox, river access with kayak rentals, an outdoor fitness station, walking trails, and 18 hole Frisbee golf.

Frost Fire Park (ND)
Frost Fire Park is 65 miles NW of Grafton in the beautiful Pembina Gorge of northeast North Dakota. This park features ski/snowboarding, downhill mountain bike trails, summer theatre, arts camps, a bar & grill, and many more events.

Icelandic State Park is 40 miles NW of Grafton on the north shore of Lake Renwick, six miles west of Cavalier, North Dakota. The park features a beach, museum, historic buildings, the Pioneer Heritage Center, and the Gunlogson State Nature Preserve.

Turtle River State Park is 40 miles South of Grafton. It is a public recreation area occupying 775 acres on the Turtle River, Two miles north of Arvilla, ND. The park includes camping, cross-country skiing, fishing, hiking, and mountain biking.

Old Mill State park is a historic park 46 miles East of Grafton on the Middle River between Argyle and Newfolden on an ancient beach of glacial Lake Agassiz in in the northwestern part of Minnesota.
